What is the difference between a Movie Screening and a World Premiere?
There are several different types of Movie Screenings. 1) Research Screenings – These are usually done to an audience that fits a target demographic. The audience is usually asked questions at the end and sometimes asked to fill out a questionnaire. Sometimes you can be paid to attend or given an incentive, but it is not common. 2) Press Screenings – These are movie screenings where members of the Press (TV, Radio, Newspapers, and Websites) come to view the movie before they write a review.
