What is the difference between a Member and Moderated Forum?
The SaddleBrooke Forums are a member forum. We require that you live in SaddleBrooke in order to become a member of this community. Here’s where it get’s tricky. We plan on having Moderators, but do not plan on having heavy Moderation. Moderators (see the next section if you would like to become a moderator) are used to guide the discussion, NOT censor things. We believe in the freedom of speech and that your voice is an important thing. Here’s an example. Say you post an article about a large pothole on Ridgeview in the “For Sale” section of the Forums. A moderator would be enabled to move the topic to the appropriate sub-forum.<> Again, we want your voice heard. The interesting thing about the internet is that it is a self policing venue. Discussion topics that are old or over discussed have a tendency to run their course. Disruptive posters are often kept at bay by other users. Have fun and post what is on your mind.
