What is the difference between a Manufacturers Warranty and an Extended Warranty?
A manufacturers comes with the original purchase of a unit at no additional charge. An extended warranty is purchased from either the manufacturer, store, or an insurancecompanyto add on to the original warranty. Note: the extended warranty does not take affect until after the original manufacturers warranty expires.
