What is the difference between a MA in Management and a BSc in Management?

A management degree is available to students in either the Arts or Science faculty and the titles of MA Management and BSc Management reflect this fact. Most single honours students undertake their studies in the Arts faculty (although from time to time there are single honours BSc students, most usually when a student with a joint degree intention changes this is single honours Management). At honours level, the requirements are the same. At sub-honours level, students must ensure that they fulfil the specific regulations of either the Arts or Science faculty. The most common reason for choosing to study in the Arts or Science Faculty is where you wish to undertake a joint honours degree. A joint degree with a science subject (like Maths) would be taken in the Science Faculty. An arts joint degree would be with subjects like International Relations or Art History. More information about which faculty to choose is at http://www.st-andrews.ac.
