What is the difference between a love marriage and an arranged marriage?
Love and marriage is the modern take on the course of human relationships. You have choice in this, and base it mostly on how you feel toward a certain person, and there are those who skip the other levels of compatibility (hence the high divorce rate). Usually based on fun, lust, and feelings of love that don’t always last because of some other lacking components of compatibility. Arranged marriages are when two groups, familes, people arrange for two people to marry based on status, alliance, or compatability. Contrary to popular belief, it is not the prison-of-an-institution as it once was. Many people opt to have their marriage arranged rather than seek out their own mate. Arranged marriage does not equal “loveless” either, and have a almost non-existent divorce rate because they have based their lives and relationship on something solid (shared bliefs, matching levels of compatibility, etc), not transient feelings of butterflies and love.
