Local extensions are devices physically attached to any one of the 5 Local extensions on Concero Switchboard’s back panel. Extensions 1- 4 can be any analog device such as phones, fax machines, modems and answering machines. Extension 5 is the serial connection to your PC to use with your TAPI compliant software. Remote extensions are numbered 61, 62 and 63. The Remote extensions are any telephone number in any location that you would like to have calls forwarded to. Telephone numbers become Remote extensions once they have been programmed into Concero Switchboard’s memory and assigned one of Concero Switchboard’s three Remote extension numbers (61,62 or 63).
