What is the difference between a live, automated or upload draft?
The live draft is scheduled by the league commissioner and conducted online. Each team has a set time per pick (also set by the league commissioner) and inbetween picks can chat with other team owners, view the draft results, and set their draft queue. The automated draft lets each team owner rank players by position and determine which position should be drafted in each round. On Draft Day each fantasy team is assigned players using the draft selections and a randomly generated draft order. There are three types of draft order options that your league can use: fixed, reversed every round (snake), or re-random for each round. The upload draft is an option for leagues that wish to run their own controlled draft. The league commissioner, or each team individually, can import their draft results. After all draft selections have been entered, the league commissioner can process the draft results online.
