Leveled floors are obviously leveled and only installed when the drop is more than18″, these types of floors are more expense. The larger the drop the more expensive the floor. Sometimes they require an engineer to sign off on its construction. Too grade floors are the most common and are less expensive. These are floors that provide a hard surface but contour to the grade of the property. Only the bounce is taken out. These floors never need an engineer’s approval.
