The Levels and Placements section of the ISCP website is for the trainee to enter details of their current training. The ‘Level’ is where the trainee enters in the details of their deanery, specialty, training level i.e. ST1, dates of the training, ‘sign’ the health and probity online by ticking the relevant box and select their Programme Director. Under the ‘level’ the trainee is to then enter in the details of their placement/placements for the level of training via the ‘add a placement to this level’ link at the bottom of the page. Here, the trainee can go into more detail about their training for each ‘placement’ by adding the start and end dates, the hospital and specialty, and selecting their AES. The trainee can add more than one ‘placement’ for a ‘level’. The ISCP system is designed for you to record 1 “Level” that runs for the entire time you are at each ST level and applied to this should be “Placements” (usually 2 or 3) that fit within that time period.
