What is the difference between a laser and an inkjet paper?
Laser papers are developed to react well to the electrophotography of the laser printing process. Quality print results require a successful reaction between the electrical properties and the surface roughness of the paper. High speed copiers and printers also require a jam-free paper with perfect runnability. Inkjet papers must absorb liquid inks in the correct quantity without cockling or mottling. The surface treatment on inkjet papers ensures that ink is absorbed and distributed evenly.
