What is the difference between a Landscape rose and a Groundcover rose?

0

These are two confusing names as no rose will act as a groundcover by killing weeds underneath and all roses can be used in the landscape. Basically they are both smaller rose bushes that are vigorous and have non perfect flowers that bloom continuously. But groundcover roses may only grow about 2 feet high however they will grow to a width of over 6 feet thus covering a lot of ground. Lanscape roses aren’t new but the name came about as the plants that were used to decorate the sides of highways and would withstand the abuse they must take there. For the home gardener with not much garden space these roses should be accessed on their hardiness and size of growth.
