A HTML website is build using pure HTML codes which produce a static appearance. The website will load the pages and images without any transition or animation effect. A HTML website could still achieve slight animation effects with the use of animated gifs, DHTML or javascripts. However the resulting movement will not be as dynamic and smooth as a Flash website. A Flash website produces a visually dynamic and interactive appearance. The website will load the pages and images with smooth transition (such as soft fades, glow, or masks). The menu navigation could be more interesting and generates a more memorable and interactive browsing experience.
