What is the difference between a home detailer and a home inspector?

Home inspectors are usually hired by the home buyer. Their job is to find any function problems with the home, and sometimes they suggest a repair to correct the problems. Most home inspections won’t cover aesthetic items like scratched moldings or chipped paint. When home detailers inspect your home, we look at your home the same way a prospective buyer does. We suggest most repairs based on a visual assessment but we don’t check your panel box or do attic inspections. We will want to fix squeeky doors, chipped or dirty paint and other items that might give prospective buyers a negative impression.
