What is the difference between a guided trip and a guide-assisted trip on the Nantahala?
On a guided trip, you are guaranteed there will be a professional guide in the raft with you. With a guide-assisted trip, you may be guiding your own raft somewhere behind a guided raft, or paying extra to guarantee the guide is in your raft. Our guides make you trip more fun! They are professionals–trained to meet the requirements of the US Forest Service. Knowledgeable and pleasant, they are with you to make sure you have a memorable experience on the river.
