This means it is a “learning” tool for you about your teaching. It is not designed for the job market. • A summative portfolio is designed for the TA who is graduating and entering the job market during the semester in which they are supervised. Summative portfolios are evaluative in nature. This means they are designed to serve as a marketing tool for you to use in the job market.
