What is the difference between a Form A application and a Form C application?
A Form C application is especially designed for research projects that are considered to be low risk. ‘Low Risk’ projects are those where “the probability and magnitude of harm or discomfort anticipated in the research are not greater in and of themselves than those ordinarily encountered in daily life”. All projects that are not ‘low risk’ will require submission of a Form A, to the Secretary, HREC, Office of Research and Development (9266 2784) or hrec@curtin.edu.au.
