What is the difference between a flat panel display and a flat screen display?
A flat panel display is similar to a very high quality notebook display and therefore maximizes your workspace area. The panel is typically two inches in depth and does not utilize a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube). Flat panel displays are more expensive than conventional displays. A flat screen display utilizes a CRT, which is flat, not rounded. The flat design of the tube reduces glare. This type of monitor is a conventional display and is typically 16 inches in depth.
