What is the difference between a flat, a nugget and a chunk?
This is probably the most asked question. Well, here is a basic breakdown… Nuggets are generally spherical in shape and have an unbroken surface over the majority of the stone. Flats are wafer-like with their length and width being greater than their thickness. Chunks are pieces with a relatively even thickness with at least 1 major portion of the center of the rock exposed.
