What is the difference between a flag and a banner?
A flag is finished with heading and grommets and can be flown off of an in-ground flagpole as well as off of an angled house pole. A banner is finished with a pole sleeve which is designed to be slipped over a pole. A banner can be flown off of a house-mounted flagpole or can be hung vertically with a pole or rod at the top. The vertical application is usually more common indoors.
