What is the difference between a Dorm Room and Hotel Room?
• A hotel is a full service, temporary lodging facility. • Dorms are a limited service/limited amenities temporary lodging facility. • To keep costs down at the WFTC, you are required to make your own bed with sheets that are provided, and strip them before you leave. Towels and toiletry items are not provided. • Be prepared to share a toilet and shower stall with a person of the same gender. How do I reserve a Dorm Room? • Obtain the WFTC Dorm Request Form from our website: http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/fire/mcclellan. • Follow the instructions for completing the form (on the back of the form) and email or fax to one of the number(s) at the top of the form. After I submit my request, will I get a confirmation? • Yes! Confirmations are sent via email, which is why it is required you provide it on our form.
