What is the difference between a Derbi GPR 50 and a Derbi GPR 50 Malossi?

I have never seen nor heard of a “Malossi” version. But after some reading and researching with my friends, I believe that the Malossi version has a Malossi cylinder, which is probably at 80CC or something similar. The normal GPR has a 80cc block, but with a smaller carburetor and cylinder, so that it can fit as a 50cc. Therefore the Malossi is stronger, faster and uses more fuel.

Malossi is a company in the aftermarket world . With what you are saying a Derbi GPR50 Malossi , that could mean it has been kitted with a larger piston, or crank, smaller gear ratio’s, even a bigger carb, where as the Derbi GPR 50 would be bone stock, or it could be a replica racer..
