Technically speaking, deodorants contain anti-bacterial ingredients that ensure that perspiration remains odour-free. In addition to the properties of deodorants, antiperspirants reduce the production of perspiration by means of special active ingredients (e.g. aluminum chlorohydrate). This means that the underarm area remains pleasantly dry.
