Both participants in the couples category run the entire 14k and are scored against other male/female, male/male or female/female couples. Both participants must register together through active.com and pay the combined entry fee. Or, couples may mail in their registration. Each person must fill out their own application and mail both applications together with payment. Both participants receive a medal and long sleeve technical shirt. The relay team has three categories: male/female, male/male, and female/female. All three will be scored as separate categories. The first participant will run approximately 4.1 miles and hand off to their partner at Cupids Corner. The second runner completes the remaining 4.5 miles. Both runners times will be combined and scored against other teams in the same category. Both participants receive a medal and long sleeve technical shirt.
