What is the difference between a counselor and an advisor?
Counselors are required to be licensed by the State of Michigan to provide services including test interpretations, personal and career counseling. They work within offices to ensure confidentiality, and contact is generally on an appointment basis. Advisors provide assistance with class selection, scheduling and advising of courses to meet requirements of your chosen program.
