A confirmed payment account is an account that you can use with all Payment Center features. The only limitation on a confirmed payment account is your payment limit. An unconfirmed payment account can only be used to do certain tasks within Payment Center. With an unconfirmed account, you can make payments only until you reach the total payment limit established for unconfirmed payment accounts. When you reach the payment limit for an unconfirmed payment account, you can’t schedule any more payments from that account. Account confirmation gives you an extra level of assurance that the payment account added through Payment Center is actually your payment account or a payment account that you are authorized to use.
