What is the difference between a Columnist and a Irregular?

0

A Columnist is one who has a weekly or fortnightly feature. A Columnist gets a home page and a profile page, complete with picture and everything! In return for all this, the writer gives us a commitment of giving us a piece to publish every week or fortnight, in addition to giving us three works to hold in buffer. An Irregular writer on the other hand, gives no such commitments or works for the buffer. But the Irregular writer does not get a home page, or a profile or a picture. In short, a Columnist gets a lot more exposure and hits than an Irregular writer.
