What is the difference between a classroom-based and distance learning program?
Classroom-based: Students must attend lectures and tutorials as scheduled. Contact with the lecturers are on a more frequent and regular basis. Distance learning: Students are in contact with their tutors through intensive bloc sessions over a limited period of time. In a distance learning mode, students are required to read their course materials in their own time. During tutorial sessions, students can seek clarification from their tutors. Currently, all SD’H programs are conducted on campus by local and foreign academics and industry professionals.
