What is the difference between a Catholic author and a Christian author?
Catholic and Christian is the same thing, no difference. Although not all Christians are members of the Catholic Church, all Catholics and Protestants are Christians. I think there is unconscious and therefore unintended measure of institutional bigotry in the question; so no offence taken. Id like to say something about what I think makes a Christian author Christian without regard to denominational preference. The literary work should at the least, not be disparaging of Christian faith. The novel does not have to be about religion. Religion may or not be mentioned at all to qualify so long as Christian values are not trounced in the over all scope of the story. Individual characters in the story might be irreligious, but the goal of the story should value good. One does not always have to write on religion, but one should write religiously.
