What is the difference between a Canvas & Cast Bell Tent, and a Bell Tents from elsewhere?
Our traditional bell tent has been engineered to outlast and out perform our rivals. Using the heavier 350g canvas gives the tent a real feeling of quality. The heavyweight groundsheet which attachs to the tent walls to ensure a waterproofed camping experience can also be unattached to allow the sides of the bell tent to roll up. This is a real advantage with the ‘bell tent’ design using a single pole and tension consequently bell tents with sewn in groundsheets are a mystery to us!. We advise against choosing any bell tent that dosn’t have rope and wooden guy lines or heavyweight 12mm guage tent pegs as they are crucial if the tent is to be pitched correctly. A snapped guy line or bent tent peg would severly compromise the pitching of any bell tent.
