A Canadian dollar Internet merchant account allows you to charge your customers in Canadian dollars. A US dollar Internet merchant account allows you to charge your customers in US dollars. If you have a Canadian dollar Internet merchant account you can still receive payments from US cardholders, but transaction amounts appear as Canadian dollars. If you have a US dollar Internet merchant account you can still receive payments from Canadian cardholders, but transaction amounts appear as US dollars.
