What is the difference between a call for tenders, a price enquiry and a Task Requirement Sheet (TRS)?

Call for tenders are in general used for all procurement actions above 100.000 EUR and follow a very formal procedure. Price enquiries are used for procurement actions below 100,000 EUR and follow a simplified procedure subject to less formal requirements. Price enquiries may also be announced on the EUROCONTROL website. TRS is an invitation to submit a competitive offer addressed only to the companies which are party to a framework contract. Whatever the procedure used might be, they are all ruled by the same principles of fair competition, transparency and equality of treatment of all suppliers/tenderers.
