What is the difference between a “Business Home Page” and a “Web Site”?
Ans: A “Web Site” is a collection of linked pages residing within a single, InterNIC-registered domain name, and takes the address form of #www.yourname.com# Domain-registered web sites are suitable for businesses who have a substantial quantity of information to offer and need the additional web space to present that information. A “Business Home Page” is a single page contained within a web site. The name “home page” also refers to the first, or index page of a full-domain site. Business Home Pages are most suitable for small businesses who do not need a lot of space to describe their basic business, products and services, location, and contact information. They are also ideal for small businesses on limited budgets, for the difference in cost between a single page and a large web site can be many thousands of dollars. The term “Web Site” is frequently used to describe any web page or group of pages, but this is technically not accurate.
