What is the difference between a Bridge and a Node on PE 902-EB?

0

The PE 902-EB can operate in two modes: Node and Bridge. As a Node, only one computer can be connected to the PE 902-EB and driver must be installed from the setup CD to your computer. As a bridge, a switch or router is connected to the PE 902 BE and other computers are connected to the switch or router. This mode does NOT require driver installation. A same password HomePlug network can only allow two PE 902-EBs to operate as Bridge mode at any given time. How ever, there can be any number of PE 902-EBs operating as Nodes mode. Bridge Mode: The following HomePlug product can be used as a Bridge: PE902-EB, PE902-EBx, PE902-EBc and PE903-EB Bridge mode is set automatically when you connect these products to a device. For example: router, switch, hub, etc.
