What is the difference between a Book of Shadows and a grimoire?
A grimoire is a “textbook” on magic. It is a detailed spell and ritual book. Your Book of Shadows is personal and contains so much more about your personal path. My Book of Shadows contains oath-bound information, but also personal information. My Mirror Book is simply a section in my Book of Shadows (which is actually a binder, so much better than a bound book). My Book of Shadows contains assignments I completed for my degrees, it contains advice, it contains writings, and results of studies.
