What is the difference between a Beta exam and a production exam?

0

Beta exams are used by Oracle to test new exam questions with the participation of a live audience. Data gathered during beta testing are used to select the best questions for the production exam, and to eliminate questions that are ambiguous, too easy or too difficult, or are unhelpful in evaluating participants’ knowledge level. Beta exams are offered at a discounted price; and candidates usually have either 3 or 3.5 hours to complete the exam, and may see 175 – 220 questions. For more details on how beta exams differ from the production version, visit the Oracle Certification Beta Exam Information web page.
