What is the difference between a BeachLINK non-OCI job posting and an OCI job posting?
A basic difference is that with an OCI job posting you conduct your interviews at the CSULB Career Development Center rather than at your own site, but there are others. A major one is that an OCI posting has filters in place so that only students who meet your basic screening criteria can apply. Also, email blasts are sent out to eligible students to promote your OCI opportunity generally giving you a large candidate pool of qualified students. BeachLINK takes care of setting up the interview schedule according to your specifications. You choose the type of interview that you want, select the candidates that you want to interview and BeachLINK does the rest. OCI accepts only full-time, entry-level professional positions or internships for this program. Regular BeachLINK job postings are not filtered so students can apply whether or not they meet your exact qualifications .
