What is the difference between a bachelor of Information Technology and a bachelor of computer science?
The difference is of night and day really. Bachelor of Information Technology is more for someone who wants to do stuff like fixing computers, or general administrative stuff. Bachelor of Computer Science, on the other hand, is all about coding. You get to learn different programming languages, algorithms, operating systems, etc. So I guess the question you need to ask yourself is, what do you want to do? If you want to fix computers and do general IT stuff, BIT is for you — if you want to be a code monkey, you want to go for Bachelor of Computer Science. If, however, you want to go into robotics or programming embedded devices and such, you probably want to do Computer Engineering. Hope that helps!
