What is the difference between 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz camera systems?

The main difference between 900MHz and 2.4 GHz camera systems is reception quality. Wireless 900 MHz cameras use older wireless technology and a less powerful signal, which results in a shorter transmission range. The 900 MHz bandwidth is also very “busy”, as most cordless telephones are working on this bandwidth. This results in traffic interference; thus, poor reception quality. When wireless technology is required, we only use cameras with 2.4 GHz. This results in better reception quality and better transmission range.
