What is the difference between 35 watt and 55 watt kits?
Most common HID kits are rated at 35 watts. However, we also have 55 watt HID kits, which are roughly 40% brighter. Please be aware that the color of the bulbs may not be as vivid with 55 watt kits due to the fact that they produce considerably more light. Also we do not recommend installing 55 watt kits in smaller fog light housings, especially ones with plastic lenses. This is because these kits also produce significantly more heat than standard kits.
