What is the difference among article attachments, active links, and hypertext links?
Attachments, active links, and hypertext links are all ways to link from an article to an external object, such as an Internet address (URL), an email address, or a disk file or folder. An attachment links an article to an external object which is not part of the text of the article. You can only have one attachment per article, and you specify it with the Article Properties command (Article Menu). To open an attachment, select the Open Attachment command (Article menu) or press F5. An active link is part of the text of the article which is an explicit link to an external object. It is embedded within the text of the article, and you can have any number of active links within an article. To open an active link, double-click on the text of the link in the article.
