What is the differance you think, between being “assertive” and being arrogant?

0

Being assertive is being confident in yourself and your own abilities. It means that you know who you are and are able to provide leadership. Confident people are very attractive. They tend to be very successful in business and in life. Arrogance is an overinflated view of oneself. It means that I puff my self up to the highest cloud. It means that you should worship me because I am all that. Arrogant people have a huge sense of self-entitlement such that people or society actually owe them something. Arrogant people are a huge turnoff. No one wants to be associated with them. They are commonly referred to as douche bags. Assertive and arrogant are in effect polar opposites. If I could choose between the two, I would pick being assertive. This way I am not bragging of my abilities because I know what I am capable of bringing to the table.
