In a simple way: an instrumentation and control Eng uses the electronic equipment, sensors and actuators designed by the electronics and instrumentation Eng to design and set up a control system for a given industrial process. The first one will be working mostly in a computer and in electronics labs, the second one will be working mostly in an industrial environment, he will also do a lot of programming, mostly PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming.
