The difference is in the number of sub-accounts, as generally a work-group would involve storing and sharing data with a large number of individuals or groups. If you are an individual user and do not need to share files with large number of individuals or parties, then you can go for Basic subscription plan(s). Both Basic and Workgroup subscription plan contains subaccounts but the number of subaccounts are different depending on the needs. For example if you want to have 2 GB subscription plan with only 5 subaccounts then you may opt for 2 GB Basic subscription plan but if you want to have more subaccounts say, 25 subaccounts for the storage space (2GB) then you may opt for a 2 GB Workgroup subscription plan.
