What is the diameter of the telescopic poles?
Because the poles are telescopic, each piece of the pole fits inside the next lower piece and the diameter varies all the way down the pole. In addition, the diameters vary between light weight poles and heavy duty poles. Generally speaking most of the shorter poles (16′ and under) have a diameter of approximately 1″-1 1/2″ at the bottom. The longer poles (20′ +) have a diameter of 1 1/4″ to almost 2″. The diameter of the top of the poles is about 1/2″ on heavy duty poles and about 1/4″ on the light weight poles.
