What is the diagnosis for someone who has tested positive for HIV?
There is no cure for HIV but medications known as anti-retroviral therapy or ART could control the virus. During post – test counseling, persons tested HIV positive are usually informed about the support, medical care and treatment available, here in the TCI, which would help them to live longer, healthier and more productive lives.
