What is the detection range of the RF Surgical Detection System™?
The system is rated to detect objects at a depth of up to 16 inches in the worst case electronic noise conditions in an OR. The typical performance range in most ORs, however, will be significantly deeper—with scanning detection up to 24 inches due to the electronic noise management software in the console.
