What is the details of the homecoming platteville co?
This year’s Homecoming had student groups from around campus participating in events following the theme “Pioneers Come on Down.” Events included: the Gold Bar Relay, Tug-of-War, the Homecoming Parade, Yell at the Volleyball Coronation, Tricycle Races and the Variety Show. Greek Life, 91 FM, Fusion X, UW-Platteville Veterans Club, Rangerettes and residence halls were among the groups represented at the Variety Show. Participants were judged on originality (40 percent), audience reaction (25 percent), correlation to theme (25 percent) and time (10 percent), as listed on the UW-P Web site. The Variety Show performance was moved from the Center for the Arts to Velzy Commons in Ullsvik Hall in order to accomodate a larger audience. The emcees for the show were the members of the Homecoming Court.
