What is the Desktop Notifier and how do I use it?
The Desktop Notifier sits on your desktop and tells you when you’ve received new Winks and when a contact wants to chat with you – even when you’re not signed in to your WinkBall account. You will need to be registered with WinkBall in order to use this application. You can download a notification application for WinkBall from http://www.winkball.com/notifier. On this page you will see a link for two different versions: PC or Mac. Once you have clicked the relevant link for your operating system you will see a browser notification showing a file being saved to your downloads folder. On a Mac, open the downloaded Zip (.zip) file and you will then see the McNotifier application file. Drag this to your applications folder and then double click to start using notifications. You will be prompted to input your login details at this stage. Enter these and then click the Save button. On a PC download and run the executable file (.exe) file to install the Notifier.
