What is the Department’s obligation to the Cimarron Hills Fire Department?
Our District co-occupies a station in the Cimarron Hills Fire District under the terms of an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA). The station is staffed by Falcon firefighter/EMTs 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Without the IGA or the cooperation of the Cimarron Hill Fire Protection District, the Falcon Fire Protection District would need to construct a new substation in District 4 to better serve the District’s southwest area.
