• The hospital has taken major steps to complete networking within the faculty area of our department and in enhancing channels of interdepartmental and hospital-wide electronic communications including access to diverse clinical records material. • The Family Medicine Clinic is currently connected by computer links to the hospital for appointment and test scheduling, clinical service reports and laboratory results. Family Medicine Clinic laboratory results are available on our own in-house computer system as well as programs for patient education materials, physical therapy instructions, and diverse Internet links and resources. Department faculties are increasingly utilizing presentation software and more advanced communication technology in departmental presentations and lectures.
